Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church to celebrate 10^th anniversary of P3

On Wednesday, November 8, Bishop Michael F. Burbidge of the Diocese of Arlington will celebrate the 10^th anniversary of the P3 (prayer, penance and pub) program at Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Bishop Burbidge will offer opening remarks and attend a Q&A session.

The P3 program offers opportunities for prayer and socialization to Catholic young adults.

Notable totals (since P3 began in November 2013):

• P3 sessions and meditations: 500
• Adoration: 750 hours of Exposition and Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament
• Confessions:
• • 750 hours during which Confessions were available
  • 1,500 hours offered by priests in the confessional
  • 50 Confessions heard per week
  • 25,000 Confessions heard in 10 years
• Total attendance:
• • 70 per week
  • 35,000 in 10 years

Several couples have met at P3 and are now married-the exact number of marriages is unknown.
