    Bishop Giving a Homily in the Holy LandDIVINE MODEL FOR HUMAN RELATIONSHIPS

    A Homily given by Arlington Bishop Paul S. Loverde on the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity at St Thomas More Cathedral
     

    Today’s liturgy places before us the Mystery of the Holy Trinity. The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches us quite clearly: “The mystery of the Holy Trinity is the central mystery of the Christian faith and of Christian life” (no. 26). And the United States Catholic Catechism for Adults, provides the following explanation: “God reveals Himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The doctrine of the Trinity includes three truths of faith” (cf. p. 52).

    CLERGY CHANGES

    Effective June 26, Bishop Loverde ordained seven new priests at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More. Please join with us in prayer for these fine men as they set to begin their first assignments. The Bishop also announced clergy changes for the diocese. May the Lord bless our clergy!
