Bill Dalgety, whose daughter attended Paul VI High School’s Options Program for students with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, believes this Mass is important to the families. “By celebrating disability awareness, Bishop Burbidge, and Bishop Loverde before him are affirming the worth and dignity of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, like our daughter, Emily.  They are acknowledging that people with these kinds of disabilities are part of the body of Christ and have something to contribute to their joy, inclination to love and purity of heart.”
